Penis Disorders
Penis Disorders - What penis
disorders are there? Here are a few disorders that affect the penis that
I have studied, there are more but these seem to be the ones most men,
especially in
penis enlargement, are concerned with.
Priapism: Priapism is a constant, sometimes agonizing erection. The
erection can last for a few hours to a few days (in rare cases). An erection
caused by priapism is not sexually derived nor will it be relieved by
ejaculation. Priapism happens when blood fills into the penis but does not
drain. (see
penis anatomy)
Peyronie’s disease: Peyronies is a disorder where a plague will build up
in the walls of the penis. The plaque, which usually manifests as a lump or crease in
the penis (most noticed during erection). In many cases the hardening of
this plaque results in a bend in the penis during an erection. This
condition can make it painful to achieve an erection.
Balanitis: Balanitis is a swelling of the foreskin (the skin that covers
the head (glans) of an uncircumcised penis. When the head of the penis also
swells the condition is called balanoposthitis. Some of the common side
effects of this are redness, itching and a foul smelling discharge. (see
penis anatomy)
Phimosis
Phimosis is when the foreskin of the penis is too tight and cannot be
retracted. When this happens the head of the penis is unable to come out.
(see
penis anatomy)
Penile cancer
This is a very rare condition. Penis cancer happens when atypical cells
divide and grow uninhibited. (see
penis anatomy)
