About the Male Penis

The adult male has an average
penis size of 2 to 3 inches long when flaccid. However, this length may
differ daily, for example, when it is cold the penis often withdraws into
the fatty tissue overlying the pubic bone, which may make it appear smaller.
Although this happens, the natural length of the penis throughout all man
holds little variation.
The external structure of the
penis consists of three basic parts, the glans, the shaft and the base. The
glans, commonly referred to as the head, is the most sensitive area of the
penis. The fremum refers to the hypersensitive spot located underneath the
glans.
The shaft makes up the part of
the penis which travels from the tip to the base, where the base is the part
of the penis attached to the scrotum. The scrotum refers to the sac which
holds the sex glands that produce the sperm, commonly known as the
testicles.
The internal structure of the
penis also consists of three primary structural parts. In this instance
however, these three structures are made up of tubes; two erectile bodies
(corpora cavernosa), and the corpus spongiosum. The two erectile bodies run
along the length of the penis, while the corpus spongiosum, which includes
the urethra, runs along the underside of the shaft of the penis.
The erectile bodies are the
part of the penis largely responsible for the erection. This is because the
erectile bodies contain blood, and during an erection, the amount of blood
inside theses cylinders increases. This happens as a result of an increase
in the inflow and a decrease in the outflow of blood. The cylinders are
subsequently filled to their limit with blood, forcing the penis to stand
upright.
To ensure a good blood supply
throughout an erection, several blood vessels run towards the erectile
bodies and a dense web of small nerve fibers ensure the opening and closing
of the right vessels. Also, given that no stiff structures, like a bone,
exist in the penis, the penis is linked to the pubic bone through strong
connective tissue, allowing it to remain relatively stable during an
erection.
The urethra is designed to
conduct urine to the outside world, but can only be considered a tube when
it does; after the urine is expelled, the elastic fibers in its wall make
sure it collapses. The penis merely serves as an extension of the urethra,
thus enabling males to urinate with ease.
As you more than likely
realise, the penis serves three main functions. These functions are made up
of urination, sexuality and reproduction. Urination, as I mentioned earlier,
is where the penis serves as an extension of the urethra. As such urinating
is a rather simple function. Sexuality, simply put, refers to the ability of
an erect penis to give pleasure, and reproduction refers to the importance
of the erect penis, and the ability to ejaculate, in the reproduction
process.
I would recommend that you
consider other penis
enlargement methods to maximize your results.
